Perishing?

““For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

So much of the world are concerned about destruction of the planet, when God says He will create a new heaven and a new earth. Revelations tell us that this earth will be destroyed by fire. It will not be the cows fault, the coal burners fault but sin. When judgement comes it will be in fire.

However, what will happen to us? If we believe on the Son of God we will gain eternal life, even though our natural bodies die. We were meant to live forever. Our spirits and souls will in fact do this, not so our earthly tent.

Those who refuse to believe will spend eternity in the fires of hell. Hell was made for Satan and his angels not for mankind. Nonetheless, those who follow him and swallow his lies will follow him into his eternity- fire, where the worm does not die and the fires are not quenched.

Eternity with Him will be a blessed affair. Imagine: no more sickness, rejection, sin, temptation. Praise God an eternity where  life is constantly filled with Him and the plans He has for us! Yes!!!
