So loved

““For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Last night I received a message with four photos of a family who had lost everything in a house fire in Nepal. I was asked to pray and knew more was required. I am in my last days here in Australia and am surrounded by opulence. Giving is required. The giving I can do is small in comparison to what the Father gave me. He gave me His Son.

Having had a son and a daughter I would never have given them up for anyone. I remember when they were small thinking upon this fact. I cherished my children. How could God give His Son? Now I am older and so are they I am rather giving up my own life for the lost, still I could not give my children.

As I ask friends to help supply the need in Nepal I know that this will happen again and again as we reach more for the kingdom. A strategy is required. I’ve created one, so that a reserve will be available to be drawn upon. The Father knew that sin was an endemic problem and one that required a strategy, He created one, a permanent one. Jesus was and is and always will be enough. Praise Him! The Father knew He would rise from the dead and He did, to greater honour and glory. Because of Him I will rise into eternal life. Thank you Lord! Amen!
