Sweet fellowship

“But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. “Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people. Once you received no mercy; now you have received God’s mercy.”1 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God’s mercy is soooo good! When my heart rebukes me for selfishness, repentance clears the way for me to enjoy my God and His word.

I am finally in Nepal. Having just had lunch after waking from sleep, my clock is out of sinc, I sit and enjoy my new surroundings. The lovely people of Nepal need to hear of God’s amazing grace. How sweet is the sound of His mercy and grace. Already I have been for a walk to the local supermarket and touched base with other godly friends. I am about to have a lesson in the Nepali language after being away for three months.

My flatemates treated me to a lunch of daal bhat, the local dish, usually eaten twice a day. I am learning to like the Nepali dish, especially when prepared by friends. The weather here is cold, after the heat of Australia. However, it is not oppressively cold.

Oh to enjoy sweet fellowship and talk about serving our God!
