The wise

“Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever.”Daniel‬ ‭12‬:‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The wise avoid the uncleanness of the world, they are not tempted by it, they carry restraint in their hearts. They are not given to distractions, they are focused. When they have free time they do not waste it on idle pursuits but fill it with godly pursuits. They know they are on a path that leads to the Lord and look for the ways to walk successfully on that path.

If studying for a career they study diligently, if working they work diligently. If a homemaker they do it creatively and diligently. Diligence is important. While adventure is important holidays are made with a godly perspective.

The wise welcome others on their travels, however, they lead and not follow. Truth and integrity lead, they guide. There is no compromise with darkness, no shadows or grey areas. Man pleasing is not a trait of the wise. They are God pleasers. Their ears listen for Him, their eyes look for Him. He is their treasure.

The wise lead others in righteousness, they shine! Amen!
