“He is the one all the prophets testified about, saying that everyone who believes in him will have their sins forgiven through his name.”Acts of the Apostles 10:43 NLT
The verse begs the question: who is Peter referring to when he states ‘all the prophets’?
“On that day a fountain will be opened for the dynasty of David and for the people of Jerusalem, a fountain to cleanse them from all their sins and impurity.”Zechariah 13:1 NLT
“When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins.”Isaiah 53:11 NLT
“And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying, ‘You should know the Lord.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already,” says the Lord. “And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.”Jeremiah 31:34 NLT
“A period of seventy sets of seven has been decreed for your people and your holy city to finish their rebellion, to put an end to their sin, to atone for their guilt, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to confirm the prophetic vision, and to anoint the Most Holy Place.”Daniel 9:24 NLT
These are a few, however, we get the message: the prophets spoke about Jesus forgiving our sins. Praise Him! Amen!!
