Receiving and priorities

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭11‬:‭24‬ ‭NIV‬‬

To receive you first have to ask. Jesus had many people come to Him and ask for healing, and they received it. Some had amazing faith. Two of these were not Jewish. His disciples asked for position, however, Jesus said this was not his brief, the Father gave position.
What are we asking the Lord for? Jesus taught us how to pray in the Lord’s Prayer we see: praise the Father, welcome His kingdom and will in our lives; provision for daily need; forgiveness as we are willing to forgive and protection from the enemy of our soul. Nowhere here was wants, position, or things.
Jesus said, “whatever you ask the Father in My name shall be done for you.” Was it a given that we would pray according to kingdom priorities?
Jesus also said, “seek first the kingdom of God and all these other things shall be given unto you!” What are the other things? Food, clothes, things, and relationships.
Let us ask the Lord what His desires are today, seek His priorities. Amen!
