We should never underestimate the power of the Holy Spirit. Complacency and familiarity can cause us to disrespect Him when He is a powerful ally. When we need Him, faith in His ability to help is imperative, otherwise we are helpless. Jesus said, “All things are possible to Him who believes!”(Mark 9:23). We need to believe and protect our believing by righteous living, and cultivating a close relationship with the Holy Spirit.
The more I watch secular shows, the harder it is to believe. I need to build up my faith and protect my heart from lusts for things that destroy my relationship with the Holy Spirit. “Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth.”1 Timothy 6:6
Stay sensitive to the Holy Spirit! What would He have you do?
