“Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.”James 5:13-15 NLT
Prayer is powerful! I see answers to prayer almost daily. James, here, is instructing the church in the diaspora to keep praying.
We can easily be deterred from prayer, believing our prayers are ineffective. Ask the Lord to show you the power of your prayers. He will!
Right now, the enemy of my soul is trying to convince me I will not be rid of the ringing in my ears. He is wrong! I will find my way in prayer. I ask for assistance in prayer.
My God has a solution! I need to find it! Amen! I will also sing my way out! I will praise My God as long as I live! Amen!
