Never Fails

Do you have eyes and do not see, and do you have ears and do not hear? Mark 8:18

I constantly face new challenges to my faith. Will I believe this time, will it be different this time? Will the Lord not keep me, this time?

Today all my well laid out plans for the week have gone awry. Appointments cancelling and a feeling like I had hit a wall. Perhaps I hit the wall because I presumed that the road went through when in fact it went around.

I had been encouraging someone else who is also facing a similar problem, it was easy to say, before the appointments cancelled but now I find myself just where she is, having to trust. Ahhhhh!

I am glad my appointment for tonight cancelled because I had a girlfriend call around and I was able to cook her dinner and spend some quality time with her. We went for a drive to the shops and bought a delectable small tub of ice cream to have with our fruit salad, as today is Valentine's day it made it special. I had 3 red roses in the garden and cut them and decorated the table.

I had a call from my son who remembered that today used to be my wedding anniversary and was concerned that I might be struggling. I assured him I was fine and that I was also safe, behaving myself on Valentine's day.

Sorry, I digress! Back to the point, I was a real girl there for a while wasn't I? The point is that our God never changes, He never fails, and His plans work a whole lot better than mine, always! Amen!
