We love to make a profit when we sell stuff. I am about to have a moving house sale. Today the first goods left my house. I have the opposite problem, I prefer to give things away. My son has told me to sell, I will try.
However, back to scripture. We can grow in Christ as we open our hearts up to the power resident in the scripture. As we grow to love our God we begin to love His word. The word of God is sharper than a very sharp sword, it will speak to all that is hidden in our hearts. It pierces through all the camouflage, all the rubbish in the way.
The word washes us. In John 15:3 Jesus said: “you are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.” Allow it to wash you clean. Amen!
