Surrender

“If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it.”Mark‬ ‭8‬:‭35‬ ‭NLT‬‬

As we watch the Israeli war unfold against Hamas, we know there will be no surrender on either side. For Israel to surrender to Hamas it would mean extermination. Hamas has no plans to surrender. It has already killed hostages taken from Israel. Those hostages did not go willingly, they were abused horribly.

We cannot surrender our lives to the enemy of our souls. He tempts us with riches, glory, and fame but binds us in a selfish prison that lives for lusts of the flesh. These prisons are places of death of eternity in our souls. We become carnal beasts living for gratification now.

It is better to wash ourselves clean of the filth and serve the Lord in whatever capacity he wants. He is our God and our supply.

Time is short. Come out of the cage and live! Amen!
