Made right

“For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.”2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The bible shows us that no man, no matter how close to God, was able to claim the title ‘sinless’ except for Jesus. He was born without sin and remained without sin until He became sin for us at the cross.

Why did He do that? The only reason was love. Love paid the price for me to be made sinless, not by anything I can do, but solely by what He did.

Every time I begin to feel pure and holy I realise it is not me that does the cleansing, but it was Him. My flesh will always be sinful, but by faith I walk in His sinlessness and are made clean. This realisation helps me humble myself. Humility is important, as pride destroys me. It took Satan down and it will take me out also.
