for the good...

10 Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith. Galatians 6:10 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/gal.6.10.NLT Doing good means not doing bad. What is bad? Apathy? Acts of selfishness? Violence? Theft? Slander? Would you agree that the most common ways we do bad is through neglect and apathy or being critical? We can have a mentality of ignoring the plight or needs of others. This happens when we see the need but choose to ignore it, we dumb down and in the process harden our hearts. What can we do to change this? Pray! Seek the Lord for His heart and softness. Amen! one of my grandsons feeding a kangaroo that was in captivity.

10 Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith. Galatians 6:10 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/gal.6.10.NLT If ever there was a time when good was needed, it is now. People are suffering for lack of health, lack of food, lack of home, lack of love. As a child of God I can be His hands and feet. I can step up. In the verses 6-9 Paul talks of sowing the good seed, being a blessing, doing good. How can I help my church family? How can I help my neighbourhood? How can ai help those in the world who are suffering for their faith?  There is good to be done. Now is not the time to hoard for me, it is time to give. Amen! . A land in need- Nepal.

24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. Mark 11:24 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/mrk.11.24.NLT I think what this scripture does not tell us is the faith mechanism and how it works. Whilst Jesus had a result: He cursed the fig tree, went to Jerusalem, and when He returned it was withered. There was a delay in the obvious or visual. When He cursed it, the curse took effect. When we release our faith, it starts into action. Some things we pray for in faith take time to become visible. Our challenge is to stay faithful and not short-circuit our answer. Hebrews tells us: for you have need of endurance, so that you might prove the will of the Father, and receive what has been promised. 10:36.  The will of the Father is that faith works,  it creates just as He did. Stay faithful! Amen! I don't think I know of anyone or anything more faithful than a dog, that we can see, that is.

first forgive

22 Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. 23 I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. 24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. 25 But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.” Mark 11:22‭-‬25 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/mrk.11.22-25.NLT Did you see the caveat? The special condition to receiving is forgiveness to anyone you are holding a grudge against. Anyone! Unforgiveness, prideful judgement against another, criticism publicly, all show a fleshly reaction to another whom God loves,  and He does not respect it. They all assume greater favour than that which may be upon another, and is pride. Therefore, to know how to see miracles watch Jesus. He had curse...
