The Treasure

do not be afraid little flock, it is Your Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom Luke 12:32
I have begun to understand what the father is actually giving when we see 'the Kingdom'. The word Kingdom translates as authority.
My Jesus, put His foot on satan's neck and demanded my freedom when I invited Christ into my life. I have been redeemed, blood bought, saved from a life of hell on earth and in the hereafter.
My Lord paid my debt, I am totally free of the clutches of sin, sickness and destruction. The rules of the Kingdom now reign in my life.
The above scripture comes after the teaching on not being anxious for anything. My lot is to now to learn the principles of kingdom living. My God is bringing me into an understanding of my authority in Christ.
As I understand the authority I am under then I begin to see the authority I have. I am not my own, I have been bought (redeemed) for a price. I cannot live for darkness or self.
My lovely Lord has a very good plan for my life and He is gradually opening my understanding to what it is. Come Lord Jesus! Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
