Steady!

Don't jump to conclusions there may be a perfectly good explanation for what you just saw. Prov 25:8
This is so true, especially when I am stepping out and not receiving feedback, my mind plays tricks. I hear 'see you were wrong, you missed it this time.' (sounds like someone else's voice)
It times like this I have to remember good advice, stand and stay focused on the one who led. It is as if a whole world of turmoil whirls around the act of stepping out so as to distract from the main event. Because I have such a vivid imagination I actually see swirling spirits, I could make a movie about it.
Other times is when people do not get back to me when I think they would or should, again I have to stay firm and focused and remember that others have different lives and priorities and stuff happens to distract them. It is not that they are unfaithful or uncaring but stuff happens.
I am so blessed to have the beautiful Lord in my life, His smile, His hand, His voice is all I need at these times. By the way we (He and I) have a date in heaven to dance among the stars.

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
