Love so Amazing

Ezekiel 43:7 (MSG) He said, "Son of man, this is the place for my throne, the place I'll plant my feet.
I am grateful that the Lord has now chosen to live in our hearts.
In reading these chapters how exact was the measurements God gave Ezekiel. In all the measurement He suddenly stopped at the place when the offerings were stored and said 'this place is holy'.
I know that God values my repentance, it is a sacrifice. When it comes from a deep revelation of wrong done He treasures it.
I know that he values my praise when it comes from a deep revelation about who He is and what He has done, it is precious to Him, it too is a sacrifice.
I know God values my giving when it comes form a deep desire to reach into Him and give back a portion of all He has given me.
All of the above can come from compulsion or repetition yet they will be stored in the same place as that that comes from revelation and deemed 'holy' by God.
I know that if I was God I would only keep the genuine, the true, the precious. Does He love so much that even the fact that I am there at all is important to Him? This amazes me!
Thank you Lord for your love that loves the unlovely, thank you for Your faithfulness, thank you for You. Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
