The Path

Joshua 21:45 (MSG) Not one word failed from all the good words God spoke to the house of Israel. Everything came out right.
Depending on our ability to stay focused and trust the Lord will depend on whether we see fulfillment of God's promises to us.
God gives a promise, a vision but then all hell breaks loose to stop that vision because if we succeed then all will see the revealing of a 'son of God' and He will get the glory.
It is so easy to assume that God has forsaken us when hell comes out to deter, the pain and anguish is huge, it comes from all sides and is relentless.
Why is it so huge? Because hell knows the power in a 'son of God'. As I get closer to my provision I gain authority, I see clearer and I step out bolder, I am starting to stand and walk like a 'son of God'.
My bible tells me 'all things are possible to him who believes.' The one who pays the price, walks close, stays focused begins to believe will do great things.
I cannot afford to be sidelined by attitude; bitterness, unforgiveness, anger, resentment, self-pity all must bow to my Lord. He overcame and my bible tells me 'whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world and this is the victory, even our Faith.'
I know I have a great cloud of witnesses watching and cheering me on. My first pastor Bill Beard has been with the Lord many years now, I loved that man, he was a great example for me to follow. He is one of the crowd.
I know that the test of success awaits me, I have been here before when I was married. Easy street is a slothful place if I don't stay focused, I have to walk through it just as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. I must be prepared for it and have a plan, with a plan and a vision all things are incidental.
My God must receive the glory, He must be lifted up. Amen!
