2 Kings 7:3 (AMP) Why do we sit here until we die?
The above verse relates to 4 lepers who sat outside the gates of the city of Samaria, the city folk believed they were surrounded by the Syrians and were starving. The were so hungry they were eating their own children.
The lepers were outcasts and figured they had nothing to lose, so they went across to the Syrian camp and found them all gone. God had made the Syrians believe they were under attack.
How many times do were sit, believing we are lost when our enemy has already been routed?
What have we to lose by stepping out? The ways of God are unfathomable so why do we treat Him like a man?
I know that much noise is made by my enemy but my bible tells me 'if God is for me who can be against me?'
My God is GOD! Amen!
