Let's Not Become Weary

And let us not become weary in doing good for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Gal 6:9
Disillusionment is a huge tool of the enemy. Negativity and disappointment can rob us.
How do we deal with them? encourage ourselves in the Lord, tell Him all about our stuff and say 'but I will praise You for You are good and Your word says You are on my side'.
At the beginning of the week I had a nasty situation where a client and I could not communicate, the client was becoming very upset and I could see how bad things could get.
I was being pressed on all sides but I went to the Lord and asked for His grace. I reminded Him of the power of His grace and how He had saved me from eternal damnation by His grace and I asked for His grace again.
I had written to my client and apologised if I had caused the problem. Yet the client had not acknowledged the email.
The next morning I received an email from my client which I did not fully understand. However the result was she now understood and appreciated my apology.
I knew the power of grace in that instance because the misunderstanding had gone on for weeks. I am soooo grateful for grace. Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
