Faithful and True

Job 16:19-20 (MSG) There must be Someone in heaven who knows the truth about me, in highest heaven, some Attorney who can clear my name. My Champion, my Friend, while I'm weeping my eyes out before God.
Ah! my Jesus stands before the throne and intercedes for me, constantly. He knows me by name.
Praise God there is one who truly knows us, loves us, stands by us.
Job's friends decided he must have sinned and there were not there for him, really. It hurts so much when those we depend on for friendship turn on us, it is as if satan enters their hearts and they change sides.
It is under pressure that we truly discover our friends. I discovered there was only one who I could go to. He alone was reliable, safe, always there without reproof. He alone provides, keeps me in the palm of His hand. He alone is good.
One of my DCers (DivorceCare participants) is struggling, he lost his wife and her family, his children, his car and now his job. He has been stripped. He is a brand new christian and I pray that the Lord will be his all.
Another of my friends is struggling through chemotherapy, another past DCer. Almost all his friends have turned into faithless, useless enemies.
Having been so alone throughout my divorce I know the pain and determined, by His grace, to be a faithful friend.
I have the spirit of Christ in me and He is faithful and true, I can be nothing less. Amen!
