Judge me?

Romans 2:1 You, therefore, have no excuse who pass judgement on someone else, for at whatever point you jugde the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgement do the same things.
How easy it is to pass judgement! We either do it, or are tempted to do it at every moment of the day.
We judge what we do not understand or cannot relate to. More often we do not have the full facts. Often we are offended and have our knickers in a knot.
We start the process as soon as we can talk. I have 5 grandchildren, and all of them, without exception do it as soon as they can talk coherently. My youngest grandson, Archie, is not quite two but in the next year he will have made the grade.
I just spent 1 week with my daughter's children and they were constantly annoyed with one another about some slight or upset.
At one time the eldest, Chloe, was going to 'dob' when mummy came home because her brother had done something unforgivable. I had applied the thumb screws and Moses had apologised so I said to Chloe, 'If God says He forgets our sins when we say sorry then we should do the same, so I don't think you should dob on Moses.'
Chloe looked at me twice as if to say 'are you serious?' Needless to say she did not dob.
At DivorceCare I hear all sorts of stories, 'I left because', 'she left because...'. Either one or both parties have fallen out of love because of the behaviour of the other.
Having been divorced for 6 years and separated 7 years I am now able to wish my X well. While in Brisbane, I went with my daughter, her husband and children to stay in a townhouse owned by Tony for a holiday on the Sunshine Coast. I was happy Tony owned the property and grateful I was still related, as I am still benefiting.
I had a really good holiday and was constantly grateful for the Lord's provision. It is so much better than being full of grouse. A cheerful heart is really good medicine and a grateful heart is hard to beat.
