Outpouring

Job 40:4-5 (MSG) "I'm speechless, in awe—words fail me. I should never have opened my mouth! I've talked too much, way too much. I'm ready to shut up and listen."
I can relate to Job. His mistake was assuming that he knew all there was to know about God and His ways and make a judgement according to that limited knowledge.
It is good to be made speechless by an awesome God. I love it when He reveals something new about Himself, or me, for that matter.
All things are hidden in Him until He chooses to reveal them. Who can know the mind of God and give Him counsel?
Oh How good it is to know that all I have to do is press in to the One who knows, it is His delight to show me the Kingdom.
Lord I wait on You and as I do I sense Your delight, You have so much to show me.
Greater things are yet to come, greater things are still to be done in this city (song by Chris Tomlin)
A great outpouring is coming, a tsunami of God is coming, He will display His power and might, His name will be great. Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
