Release

Romans 5:20 (MSG) All that passing laws against sin did was produce more lawbreakers. But sin didn't, and doesn't, have a chance in competition with the aggressive forgiveness we call grace. When it's sin versus grace, grace wins hands down.
Aggressive forgiveness, now there is a thought! I have never thought of forgiveness being aggressive, I like it!
I can, at times, be overwhelmed with the power of sin, it grieves me how those I love can be blindly caught in its grip but this scripture tells me Grace has more power. Yes!
My Jesus may I see this unfold!
For a long time now I have been aware that I have the power to release and power to bind. When there is an altar call at church I pray a prayer of release, I bind unbelief and release the spirit of salvation to go to the lost. I have seen people come to know the Lord because of this action.
I wonder if we Christians can be blind to the power of release. Lord today I release Your Grace into my world, go in all Your might and power. Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
