Bearing Fruit

Proverbs 28:19-20 (MSG) Work your garden—you'll end up with plenty of food; play and party—you'll end up with an empty plate. Committed and persistent work pays off; get-rich-quick schemes are ripoffs.

I currently have a veggie garden and I make sure that I water it daily. I have an abundance of tomatoes growing, so much so that I have been able to sun dry some and give the rest away. It is a real pleasure to have an abundance so that I can bless others

I have a cucumber plant that was not producing so I asked my knowledgeable neighbour and he suggested I cross pollinate as perhaps there were no bees in my garden. He was right, so I took a cotton bud and went from flower to flower and did the bee thing, with result, I now have cucumbers.

This is a lesson in life. I can't just sit and do nothing, I have to tend my relationships, my business. When not producing, I need to look at strategy, what am I missing, talk to knowledgeable people, it will bear fruit.
