My aim is to evangelise where Christ has not been named, so that I will not build on someone else's foundation, but as it is written: 'Those who were not told about Him will see, and those who have not heard will understand. Acts: 15:21

It was the final night for the current session in DivorceCare last night and we saw two young girls give their hearts to the Lord, we prayed for another woman who had been diagnosed with a bowel tumor (this is becoming our speciality, last two healed) and the Holy Spirit was there to save.

The remaining participants agreed that the course had changed how they thought about their experience and gave them tools to move on.

I was ready to say 'no more DivorceCare', as I have become weary in the task and had not seen results. I wonder what results I wanted? we have seen two healed from bowel cancer, many come to Christ. I have become disappointed with the lack of support and the critical few.

Perhaps I was looking in the wrong direction. As I told the team of my thoughts my co-leader said 'You told me this was your ministry'. I thought he would be glad but he is determined to press on.

He counselled me to have a break until September and see what God is doing. We were going to do that anyway. Clever man!

It is easy to become weary when trying to bring good news to people who reject it, who have heard it all before and are jaded.

Only in my last post was I talking about a friend who was in pain and rejecting the Lord's help. I have seen so many the Lord is reaching out to turn away from Him to their own endeavours, it hurts.

Today I give up my disappointments to the Lord and ask for His refreshing and His vision, 'show me Your way Lord, Amen'.
