Whose Report Will You Believe?

He was not left in Hades, and His flesh did not experience decay. God has resurrected this Jesus, we are all witnesses of this. .Acts 2:31,32

After Jesus rose from the dead we have one account as to where He opened the scriptures to two of the disciples on the road to Emmaus. It can be supposed He did the same to the rest. He needed them to finally tie all the scripture together and see the full picture.

Peter's preaching seems to indicate that he had finally 'got it'. Ah the joy of revelation.

Waiting, against the belly full of emotion, the 'I don't get its', the frustration, the blackness, the pain and anguish is worth it when revelation comes.

Job had such an experience. He did not understand all that came upon him. His so called friends admonished him that he really must have been a bad boy for all this calamity to occur.

Job did not have the ability to see into the spirit realm. Satan, his accuser was parading himself before the Lord, strutting like a peacock and demanding that God cease His protection so that he could show God how base and carnal Job really was.

We do not know all that is to be known, yes it may seem unfair but my God promises that 'all things work together for good for those who love God; those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)

On Saturday I suddenly caught myself. I was allowing the enemy to fill my mind with accusations against a fellow believer. I rebuked the devil and started to pray for that person, blessing, release, forgiveness and abundance.

Our enemy wants to destroy our relationships and we have to be alert and counter his attack with praise, honour and blessing.

Be alert! Your enemy is about, pull out accusers tongue, start praising. Amen!
