When God takes hold of an individual they are mighty before their adversaries and will confound them. Their enemies only recourse is to kill.

Again and again throughout history religious and political (that is another religion anyway) bigots become murderers because they cannot contain truth.

Yesterday my friends was up in court with her enemies trying to assassinate her character. Their questions are all aimed at showing her to be a wicked grandmother, incapable of taking care of her grandchild.

My friend had no recourse but to answer the questions and say if she did not understand. She is not free to discuss the details and she is still under oath but the questions have not ceased and will continue next Tuesday.

I know this woman to be of sound mind and good character as I do life with her as my friend. DOCS (department of community services) do not. However they also have an agenda. They have placed the grandchild in what they consider a 'good foster home' and don't want to give her back.

As many of us do, my friend has found her only, and best hope, is in the Lord. He alone is good. Amen!

I see how family and friends back away and allow ones they love face their enemies alone, because they can't cope with confrontation.

This is not good! True love endures, believes all things, hopes all things, it never fails. Amen! As we step up to the plate our God gives us strength. Things are never as bad as we surmise.
