Dependant on Him

We have redemption in Him through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. Ephesians 1:7,8

This is it folks! This is what it is all about. His blood, spilt for us, poured out for us is the key. I have been let loose from prison, my chains are broken because He decided to set me free.

All I have done that was wrong, all I currently do and all I will do is forgiven not so I can go willfully sinning because I don't. I am so grateful that I am free from the price of sin. Before I knew Him there was a penalty for my wrong and I carried the burden of guilt in my soul.

Now I am free from the clutches of guilt. I have the gift of repentance and I am able to use it whenever and as often as I need it, it is mine and cannot be taken away.

I have this because His grace is so rich and full, a fountain continually flowing, never stopping is there in my life. He gave me this is all wisdom and understanding.

When I choose to give to my grandchildren a gift that I know will benefit them I give it in wisdom and understanding. I know from experience that it is what they need.

The greatest gift I can give is me, my time and my energy. Last night I went to help my daughter-in-law as my son was away. The boys vie for my attention, they all talk at once. I give them loving adoration and they respond in kind.

We have a saviour who gives loving adoration, He wants to shower His love on us. My children do not vie for my attention anymore, they are grown up and independent.

When Jesus said we must be as little children perhaps He meant just that, in innocence and dependence come and seek my attention, it is still here for you, even though you are grown.'
