Far Above

He demonstrated this power in the Messiah by raising Him from the dead and seating Him at His right hand in the heavens - far above every ruler and authority, power and dominion, and every title given, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put everything under His feet and appointed Him as head over everything for the church, which is His body the fullness of the One who fills all things in every way. Ephesians 1:20-23

Our God is supreme, He is over all. He has power over death, 'death could not hold Him down'.

Jesus, by His obedient sacrifice was raised over all. There is no authority that can touch Him, He is above it. We constantly see, in the news, various so called leaders in various nations who are full of their own importance. They are there because God allows it, with a flick of His finger they are removed.

We also hear various voices who profess they know greater than God, they state that God is an illusion, a crutch, a prop for weak men, yet they are not able to hold back death.

Jesus is seated above all. This means He has finished His work and is at rest from His labour. He invites us, the believers, to sit with Him. How is that? The work has been done. I do not have to struggle for a way, for life, for salvation. The work is completed. Thank you Lord. Amen!

We are His body, the voice, the hands the feet, the ear, the heart. As we submit ourselves to Him we fulfil our mandate, to reach the lost.

The lost are everywhere and it is our job to bring them home. Amen!
