He Lives!

From one man He has made every nationality to live over the whole earth and had determined their appointed times and the boundaries of where they live. He did this so they might seek God, and perhaps they might reach out and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. For in Him we live and move and exist.......being God's offspring then, we shouldn't think that the divine nature is like gold or silver or stone, an image fashioned by human art and imagination. Acts 17:26-29

I can't but praise my God for all He has done, for His intention towards me, His desire to know me. Since I was 4 I sought the Lord and at 19 I found Him and what joy accompanied that finding. Now all my days I live for Him for I am grateful not because I am a lowly worm but because He calls me friend.

He has seated me (in the spirit) in heavenly places, I need to look at my world from there. He has anointed my head with oil, this speaks of authority. I am made to rule and reign over my circumstances. Daily He gives me the way to do this, He is with me in all I go through, in all I do.

I have eternal life because of Him, I know that forever and ever and ever and ever I will be with Him. That is hard to fathom but it does not make it untrue. If my God, who created the universe is with me then each day will be new and exciting because He is here. Amen!

He is living and  breathing, I dare not try to capture Him in stone because He lives! Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
