Lying Demons

As she followed Paul and us she cried out, 'These men, who are proclaiming to you the way of salvation, are the slaves of the Most High God. and she did this for many days.
But Paul was greatly aggravated and turning to the spirit, said, 'I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.' And it came out right away.

'Go Lord Go!' I totally understand how Paul felt. Have you experienced these people? You know there is something in them that hates you yet their words seem to say the opposite, you can sense the slither of snakes and it makes your skin crawl. It called demons.

Still on enforced bedrest now, I watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy over the past few days. One part that loudly resonated with me was when Gandalf the white (he been resurected) goes to visit King Theoden to call him to war and Wormwood the king's counsellor is speaking lies and deception into the kings ears. I loved the way Gandalf set the king free, a full on deliverance. It was good to see. Then the king was able to expel Wormwood from his kingdom.

Later in the movie we see Frodo face the same foe. Smegol (Gollum) was guiding Frodo to Mordor so Frodo could rid the earth of the power of Sauron by destroying the ring. Smegol starts to turn Frodo against his best friend, Sam, buy lying to him about Sam's intentions. Here Frodo did not have a deliverer and ends up in the clutches of a huge spider, but Sam comes to the rescue.

I am sorry if you have not watched these movies and find it hard to follow, however the basic gist is, we have an enemy and his tools are lying demons. It is always good to have someone around who can discern what is going on and is bold enough to take action.
