Come
d, "Come". so Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, "Lord, save me." Jesus immediately reached out His hand and took hold of him.... Matthew 14:29-31
I seem to have this chip inside that responds to the call of faith. There are many times I wish it was not there but it always wins.
The call rises above the mundane, it is full of relationship and it sings to me. The resonance of faith is full of beautiful melody, I am bound to it and cannot escape.
After I have spent time with family and hear sympathetic cries of "Why do you do this to yourself?" I examine myself in the light of the ordinary and find so much that does not comply. Yet when I return home and feel the welcome of the spirit I am again challenged to follow.
I had a good time with my sisters and mother. Yes we had our moments but they were processed well and we came through as a loving family. I travelled through some of the most delightful scenery and am well sated with the beauty my God has created.
I can confidently say, "My God is good and I would not trade Him for any other". Amen!
