"I Can See!"

As Jesus went out from there, two blind men followed Him shouting, "have mercy on us, Son of David!"
When He entered the house, the blind men approached Him, and Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I can do this?"
"Yes  Lord", they answered Him.
Then He touched their eyes saying, "Let it be done according to your faith!" And their eyes were opened. Matthew 9:27-30

How exciting for the blind men, today was their day. They had heard about Jesus, they felt the excitement growing amongst the people and searched for him. They had to rely on others to take them to him.

Finally they were in front of Jesus, Jesus had just come out of Jarius' house. They followed shouting, "have mercy on us Son of David!"

Ah! these men recognised something. Isaiah 35:5-6 confirms Jesus as the Messiah. The scribes and Pharisees had trouble recognising Jesus because He did not fit the idea they had of the Messiah but the poor, the sick, the lost did, at last here was their salvation, their healer, there deliverer.

Jesus waited until he arrived somewhere and was going into a house before He dealt with these men. He allowed the blind men to struggle to keep up, to maintain and increase their desire.

He asks them, "Do you believe I can do this?" Their actions already testify to the fact that they do but He wanted them to confess it.

Is Jesus testing you today? Don't give up press in and receive your miracle. Kill self-pity and unbelief go for gold, go for God!
