The Eyes of The Lord

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayers. 1Peter3:12

Who are the righteous? Those who put their trust in Him.

So if I put my trust in Him and I give Him my heart then I have His eyes and ears. Awesome!

Today I travelled to Sydney to see family and because I wanted to have a drive. I listened to great teaching Cd's and my favourite music. Tomorrow I will go to my favourite church and then hopefully have a swim in my favourite rock pool, because I can.

Yesterday I worked hard, in fact I had all week, even on a public holiday and I longed for a change and He gave it to me, a time of refreshing. As I drive I am constantly amazed at my God's creation.

This afternoon I took my mum to see a movie, she must have found it slow as she went to sleep. Tonight I played her Rummiking and she wooped me, I don't mind because she needs to win, it does her good.

I had dinner with my brother's family and we had a healthy conversation about the government and politics in general. I suppose I was having my Australia Day today. (Australia day is on 26th Jan).

I love the Lord because He heard my voice, He inclined His ear unto me, gracious is the Lord and righteous yea our God is wonderful. (Psalm) David I agree, I would love to sit down and compare notes one day.

I am looking for God and expect Him to be great and He is. Why don't you try it? It works if you seek Him with ALL your heart. Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
