Jesus was ready to release His disciples. They had spent time with Him learning the ropes and now it was their time to go.
Jesus was no megalomaniac or control freak, He was happy to release.
He came to give, He gave, trained and released.
The disciples were ex-fishermen, not scholars, they were tax collectors and ordinary folk. He trusted them with what He gave them, perhaps because He trusted the One who sent Him. He knew why He came and what He was doing, He was secure.
He had chosen young men who would be willing to go, to try.
He has chosen you. What will you do?
