Eternity

For what does it benefit a man to gain the whole world yet lose his life? What can a man give in exchange for his life? Mark 8:36,37

Eternity is forever and forever. This life here is so short but it is not all there is. I can live a ripe old age here in this life but it is not a patch on forever.

Forever I will live with the God of glory or with the enemy of my soul, which will I choose? Two totally different outcomes, tow horribly different outcomes.

To get to the beginning of eternity and know I had made the wrong choice and it was mine forever, oh how devastating would that be, what agony, what eternal grief.

It is like being a young lady and been loved by the most spectacular man and not believed and gone off and married someone who beat and abused me to find out in my 60's that I had someone who loved me and who would have treated me good, only this would be worse because I would know that my choice was mine forever and ever without end.

Think deeply about eternity! What if it really is like the bible says? What if God really does love you and wants to spend eternity with you? Know that you must choose Him before eternity otherwise He will not know you and you will not see Him.
