Judgement

I have come as a light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me would not remain in darkness. If anyone hears my words and doesn't keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but save the world. The one who rejects Me and doesn't accept My sayings has this as his judge. The words I have spoken will judge him on the last day. John 12:46-48

Last week at Alpha fear of God came up. There were some who had a fearful perspective. I know there are many who fear. Why do they fear? Often because of judgement, lack of relationship and a harsh father image growing up.

To believe that God loves, one first must accept Him as Savior and Lord.


To know He loves takes time and experience as He faithfully reveals Himself to us.


He is good and worthy of our trust, worthy of all praise.


God faithfully reveals Himself over and over again as a faithful, loving God.


The judge we experience is our enemy who condemns continually, not God. Inside Christ I am free from condemnation, outside of Christ His word convicts me of my sin.


We fail, at times to know the love of God. His love is unlike anything else we have ever known.


Why not trust Him and His word today and invite Him in?
