Endurance

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9

Endurance does not become endurance until there is something to endure, in other words if gets tough.

Today was another one of those days. The Internet would not work, I went to McDonalds, it did not work and then I had a bright idea. I had met with colleagues before I had moved to Tamworth and they had offered to help should I visit and need assistance, so I went for assistance and praise God received it.

Thinking all was well and that all information made it to the para- planner I thought I'd have lunch but first called and made sure all was well. All was not well, he informed me that he may not have the plan ready until next Monday.

Every fibre of my being wanted to throw a fit but I refused and calmly said, ' it has to be done by Friday so how can we make that happen?' Graciously he went into overdrive and started work on it right away.

Tonight I had dinner with a girlfriend who wanted to spit chips about her family. I was able to speak with authority that God was using her family to gouge out the rocks in her life and that she should look at Christ and not her family, they were only tools in His hands.

Getting angry at people when they are used by God as spades, chisels, saws, blow torches, is foolish as He is in charge and we should trust Him for He has a plan. Amen! Even when it hurts!
