Love and Obey!

Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God an receive from Him anything we ask, because we obey His commands and do what pleases Him. And this is His command: to believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as He commanded us. Those who obey His commands live in Him, and He in them. And this is how we know that He lives in us; we know by the Spirit He gave us. 1john 3:21-24

Yesterday I made it to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, after visiting hours but was let in. I was so grateful as I wanted to see my injured sister.
I had sent her flowers (extravaganza) and they had pride of place way up high. It was good to know I had been a blessing.

I am driving down to Albury Wodonga for work this coming week and received a call from my mum about a brother. This brother had saved me from bankruptcy 3 years ago and I have wanted to repay him ever since. Today he is moving house and had sold his business but there was a problem, the money had not come through.

I was prepared! I had received my best ever commission statement and already had a heart to give $5,000 and was waiting. As I drove past my brother's suburb I had a desire to stop and visit but my logical brain said 'no' he will be busy.

I am now stopped at a McDonalds having a coffee and am so grateful for an iPhone that can do everything. I have transferred $5,000 which was the Lord's anyway.

How good it is to be 'in Him' and 'led by Him'. He is so good! Amen!
