No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning because he has been born of God. 1 John 3:9
I have no need to fear that I will be taken away by my enemy because I know I have the Lord's seed in me. What a beautiful illustration!
His word is the seed and as I continue to partake of the seed I am more aware of Him and His presence in my life.
It is the same as if I realized that as I continue to befriend a certain person, each time I visited that person they secretly filled my bag with diamonds. As I came to know who was responsible I would realize how precious that person was to love me enough to do such a thing.
Each time I spend time with the Lord He sows His precious, empowering, Superhero strength into my mind, my emotions and my heart. Why would I not keep going to that source of life?
His seed protects me and causes me to not want to sin, better than dental protection. His protection guards my life against the cavities that would destroy not only my life but that of those I love.
