Trust; Commit; Wait; Refrain

Trust in the Lord and do what is good, dwell in the land and live securely. Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you your heart's desires.

Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act, making your righteousness shine like the dawn, your justice like the noonday.

Be silent before the Lord and wait expectantly for Him; do not be agitated by one who prospers in his way, by the man who carries out evil plans.

Refrain from anger and give up your rage; do not be agitated- it can only bring harm. For evil doers will be destroyed, but those who put their hope in the Lord will inherit the land.psalm 37:-9

There are key words here: trust; commit; wait; refrain.

These are matters of the heart. I must hold onto my heart and look to Him for His promises to perform.

When I am frustrated I want to rush; complain; do and yet I am bid to refrain and wait.

The Lord's promises are on trial here, will He come through? What has He done in the past? He has come through. He is good! He is faithful! His word never fails! Amen!
