Unfairness
Malicious witnesses come forward; they question me about things I do not know. They repay me evil for good making me desolate. Yet when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth; I humbled myself with fasting, and my prayer was genuine.
I went about grieving as if for a friend or brother;
I was bowed down with grief, like one mourning a mother.
But when I stumbled, they gathered in glee;
They gathered against me.
Assailants I did not know tore at me and did not stop.
With Godless mockery they gashed their teeth at me. Psalm 35:11-16
Do you know anyone going through this? I do!
If I look to man to do right I am disappointed mostly always. I have come to expect people to be their basest, selfishiest at all times and when they are not I am grateful, to the Lord because He controls all hearts.
God uses the evil man for His purposes. I can trust Him to get things right. Then my heart does not rage against others.
Human being can be very base and tools of our enemy. They will judge, criticize, walk all over, use one another because 'self' is king.
They can (or should I say we can) fight for our opinions and continually build little kingdoms of our own and when others disagree we attack.
Even in Christendom we see self-righteousness set itself up as judge and jury.
None of this is godly. None of us can be godly without the grace Christ gives and grace is only available to the humble.
So now, I must trust the Lord, for He alone is good and His love is toward me. Amen!
