Divine Protection

Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation.
Our God is a God of salvation,
And to God, the Lord,
Belongs deliverances from death. Psalm 68:19,20

Today I travelled to Sydney from Tamworth, via Gosford (to see my sister who is still rehabilitating from being hit by a car. Every time I see her she has improved.) I am on my way to Albury on Monday to see clients.

The traffic was bad from Singleton and very bad at Wyong. I felt real danger on the road today. I prayed for protection and received it.

I had a great visit with my sister. I have spent more time with her since her accident than I have for a very long time. We are becoming close and I love it.

I am so grateful for the Lord's protection of my sister. So many die when hit by cars, yet she survived. She still not able to walk (doctor's orders) yet she will be fine.

My God has chosen to protect my 80 year old mum as she drives on the busy Sydney roads. She told me tonight she feels safe. How good is my God!

Deliverance and protection from death. Thank You Lord! You are good, so good! Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
