One Way
Save me, oh God, for the waters have come up to my neck.
I sink in deep mire where there is no foothold.
I have come into deep waters and flood sweep over me.
I am weary with my crying out; my throat is parched.
My eyes grow dim with waiting for my God. Psalm 69:1-3
Does this sound familiar? Are you feeling lost and sinking fast?
Have you caused your 'lost' state? Or have you lost your way? Has calamity come upon you suddenly?
Whatever the reason you can now walk with your God. Your enemy constantly is looking to destroy you and has found a chink in your armor, a door left open.
You may know what that door was, all the better, repent, forgive that person, stop that sin. However, if you do not know seek God.
We can live our lives so caught up in blind pursuits of what we consider right and not see the danger that is coming fast.
Our worlds are in constant danger and just because we 'feel' good does not mean we are safe. It is our dependence on the Lord, staying close to Him that keeps us.
He is the way, the truth, the life! The only way, there is no other. He alone has the answers.
We can become deluded into believing another gospel but there is only one that saves, only one.
As the psalmist knows, you will know as you seek Him, with all your heart, He will hear and save. Amen!
