Passion

Teach me Your Way, Yahweh, and I will live by Your truth. Give me an undivided mind to fear Your name. I will praise You with all my heat, Lord my God, and will honor Your name forever. For Your faithful love for me is great, and You deliver my life from the depths of Sheol. Psalm 86:11-13

Ah! David is back. He has sometime called passion. 'Teach me Your way, Yahweh, and I will live by Your truth'.

David is determined to know God's way and truth and to live out of that truth. How about you? Is your passion for the Lord or something else?

'I will praise You with all my heart!' all is ALL, it is not lip service. What does it look like? Is there an ache in you for more?

He knows when it is all. I can tell when my employee is not passionate about what he does, when he is just marking time. If I can discern this how much more can my God see right through me?

Are you content to 'mark time?' are you content to just turn up, like a wall flower? Or is it worse? Are you content to stay away and say you belong?

What is in your passion zone? What is it you want more than life itself?

Jesus said, 'where your treasure is there your heart will be also!'

David asked for an 'undivided mind'. He knew he must be singly focused.

An undivided mind pulls the heart back into line, it keep the eyes straight ahead.

What are you looking at? That is where you will go.
