Source of Joy!

Singers and dancers alike will say, "my whole source of joy is in You." psalm 87:7

I think I would like to join in even though I don't carry the label of singer or dancer.

All who know Him will have moments of delightful joy bubbling over and want to sing and dance, unreservedly. I like to pretend I can tap dance ( only one foot works- but in my head I am great).

Last night I was bubbling over, today was different but the beautiful thing is: He never changes. Yes!

Let your joy out! Be a blessing! Tonight I went to a women's do, what I loved was that a business college of mine was there and I know she does not quite know the Lord, her daughter has found Him and has been so transformed she (mum) is gobsmacked.

Tomorrow I am meeting my colleague for coffee, she turns 60 on Saturday so we will celebrate, I also want to release the Lord to do His stuff. He does it better than anyone else, because it is him.

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged. Keep Watch

Keep vigilant watch over your heart; that’s where life starts. Don’t talk out of both sides of your mouth; avoid careless banter, white lies, and gossip. Proverbs 4:23‭-‬27 MSG https://bible.com/bible/97/pro.4.23-27.MSG Eyes straight! Jesus taught to keep our eyes on Him. When we drive down the road we must focus straight ahead. Myself, I tend to drive where I look and therefore cannot afford to look to the right or left. This is the same in life. There are times of extreme stress when we are surrounded by problems and drama. It is important, at such times, that we control our thoughts and focus on what is ahead. By focussing on Jesus we contain our thoughts in a zone that already is successful. This is also called walking by faith in the Son of God. We can trust Him! Amen!
