You have kept me from closing my eyes;
I am troubled and cannot speak.
I consider the days of old, years long past.

This sounds like one anxious guy. I can relate, but also know where I must go when in such a state, to the Lord.
At times it seems as though the Lord has left me for dead, but it is only a feeling, He is still there.
He always has a plan for good, for hope and a future.
My feelings need to me tuned into the spirit, as that is where the action is amen!
