Unrighteousness

God, the nations have invaded Tour inheritance, desecrated Your holy temple, and turned Jerusalem into ruins. Psalm 79:1

Today I have a very good friend suffering because her ex-husband refuses to be reconciled and has chosen to compound his sin with a new woman.

When men and women are deceived into thinking the grass is greener on the other side of the fence they are consumed with visions of newness, lust and lies.

Their sin is against: themselves, their spouse, their children and their children's children.

What we do speaks into the heavens. If we trample on the marriage vows then we are proclaiming that God's institution is a crock. We actually tell Him He is a failure and powerless to save.

The pain of the victim is huge. The arrogance of the abuser is huge.

What can be done? In the pain of abuse the victim thinks they are useless, powerless and want to retreat yet righteousness must stand and even if alone, Believe God!

'may Your Kingdom come, Your will be done!' amen
