"Let the dead bury their own dead but you go and preach the kingdom of God." Luke 9:60
Jesus had been inviting disciples but was receiving excuses. Jesus had a reply for the excuses, "let the dead bury the dead."
What does this mean? Perhaps it means that those who are not made alive by the gospel can be responsible for burying others the same, whereas those who are made alive by the gospel need to go and set others free.
As Christians we have a mandate to set captives fee, open blind eyes. The Gospel is our charge and we cannot give lame excuses for not bringing it into the lives of the lost.
Rethink! Review! Revive the flame and go!
