Choose Life!

After coming down with them, He stood on a level place with a large crowd of His disciples and a great number of people from all Judea and Jerusalem and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon. They came to hear Him and to be healed of their diseases; and those tormented by unclean spirits were made well.
The whole crowd was trying to touch him, because power was coming out from Him and healing them all. Luke 6:17-19

In previous verses Jesus had spent the night on the mountain in prayer, then selected His 12 apostles.

Another benefit of His night vigil was 'power was coming out from Him'. Jesus said that He only did what He saw his Father doing. You only see what the Father is doing by spending time with Him. The more time you spend with The Lord, the more like Him you become.

I have heard the words: 'I just want to relax, I have had a hard day', as someone sits themselves down in front of the television for 4-6 hours then too tired to pray, Goes to bed.

This person has decided to align themselves with Godlessness for 4-6 hours. Often every night. Who do they become like? Who is the authority in their head?

Then when trouble comes who do they blame? The TV? No! God!

Come on people we have choices! Choose life! Life is only found in Christ! Choose to rest in Him! Amen!
